PROGRAMS

OVERVIEW

Through the Marketing Supply Chain Institute, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council has teamed with the Business Performance Innovation (BPI) Network (formerly the BPM Forum) to drive best practices and thought leadership in marketing supply chain operations through two distinct programs. The first, called “Mapping + Tracking the Optimized Marketing Supply Chain,” will address the key issues and challenges marketers face in the planning, forecasting and mix modeling in the marketing supply chain operational process.  The elements of this program will be broken into three key deliverables and tactics: Content Development, Industry Standard Development, and a Self-Assessment Benchmarking Tool. Each of these deliverables are intended to link to one another and drive content downloads, leads and engagement.

The second program called "Competitive Gain in the Demand Chain" addresses go-to-market movement as the highly complex and carefully sequenced processes we know today. The goal of this program is to address means to overcome multiple points of disruption, distress and deficiency in this critical business process, and in doing so to achieve the creation of value and competitive advantage for any consumer or business marketer. This program will combine a series of best practice interviews with a comprehensive demand chain performance audit to address how well marketing content and consumables are delivered to the front line and how much this impacts sales effectiveness, revenue generation and customer retention.
